England's Easternmost River Mouth

Any quizzer should know that England's easternmost town is Lowestoft, but that the River Yare meets the sea just up the coast (and a little to the west) at Great Yarmouth. So which river reaches the sea at Lowestoft?

Turns out there isn't one. The port of Lowestoft is at the mouth of Lake Lothing, which (according to Wikipedia) is believed to be the remnant of medieval peat cutting. Inland, Lake Lothing connects to Oulton Broad, which is linked via an artificial channel (Oulton Dyke) to the River Waveney. The Waveney is a tribute of the Yare, which does indeed have England's most easterly outfall.
